Thought

God's word is far more clear than we're willing to admit. We claim that it is unclear or not really God's word, but some person's interpretation, and so we let ourselves off the hook. But we're only deceiving ourselves, and we're bringing disaster on ourselves.

Application

I should just do what God's word says and stop hemming and hawing and wringing my hands over what it might mean and what might happen to me if I follow what it says.
