Thought

No matter how bad everyone else gets, we can still remain righteous and find favor with God. It is no excuse to give in to wickedness because there is no one else left doing what is right. Just because everyone else abandons the Truth of God does not mean I have to abandon it too. If I want to find favor with God, then I need to hold fast to what He teaches, to believe it and order my life by it. Everyone else may say I'm crazy to do so, but God will stand by me, and that's far more valuable than joining in with men who have no power over their lives.

Application

There are instructions in Scripture that even most Christians don't believe or obey, even though they know the Bible says so. Even if all turn away from what the Bible teaches on any matter, yet I cannot turn away. Whatever it teaches, no matter how unpopular, I need to obey. Because God alone has power to save, and God alone truly knows how He created us to live.
