Thought
It is a dangerous thing to refuse the message of prophets and demand messages of peace and pleasant things. Isaiah calls them illusions! If all I want to hear are pleasant words, words of peace and love, then I'll probably be in trouble.
Application
The Lord desires repentance, and I know I'm not perfect, so to refuse to be confronted with sin and called to repentance is to live in a fantasy. That fantasy will end badly, completely opposite from what I've hoped for. Listen to rebuke and consider carefully how I need to keep growing and changing.
