Thought
The Lord is so good to us; He provides all we need and helps us obtain even things we want. He takes care of us, gives us life, allows us to enjoy our days. And how do we repay Him? The animals honor Him, but what about the people He formed for His praise? He hasn't demanded too much; He doesn't require all kinds of offerings and sacrifices. But is it too much to praise Him? How have we wearied ourselves for Him? He takes thought for us all the time; how often do we give thought to Him?
Application
He created me for His praise; He deserves all kinds of praise and total honor. I owe everything to Him; is it too much for me to spend lots of time honoring Him and praising His name? And seeking to learn what honors and pleases Him so that I can do it? Of course not. He deserves glory and honor all the time. Not just words of thanks and praise, but behavior and deeds that bring Him honor. My every waking thought should be of gratitude and praise for Him and how to honor Him in all that I do.
