Thought

Sometimes we just have to wait for the goodness of the Lord to show up. He does allow hard things to come, if for no other reason than to drive us to Him. When my heart says to seek His face, then I need to seek His face, and wait till He turns things around. Sometimes the wait can be very long; I still need to wait and not give up.

Application

I want things to happen very quickly, but God isn't in the same hurry that I am. I need to wait and be patient. I need to seek Him and pray, and even persist in prayer. It's almost like a test: How important is this to me? How long will I pray for it? How much do I really care about it? I give up so easily, but I shouldn't.
