Thought

When God delivers, when God answers prayer, He deserves to be praised for it. It is not merely that other believers need to know that He answers prayer, but that He deserves credit for saving His child! His name should be praised because He did great things! Yes, it will be great encouragement to others, but God simply deserves the credit.

Application

I need to remember to praise God publicly when He answers my prayers. Whether He answered my prayers or the prayers of others for the same thing doesn't really matter. What matters is that He answered prayer and granted what His children asked. Perhaps I should also do that when human authorities grant my requests: praise them for giving me what I asked.
