Passage Read: Acts 22-23
Meditation Verse: 23:11

Thought

Paul didn't say so that much about Jesus in Jerusalem, but the Lord considered it enough. He would get more opportunity in Caesarea and Rome than in Jerusalem. But apparently it is enough to say that it was the Lord Jesus of Nazareth who spoke to you from heaven. Something as simple as that, especially in a place that is so set against Him, is sufficient testimony for them. These are many of the same people who tried Jesus, now they're hearing again that Jesus still lives. They won't repent, but there will be more evidence against them at their judgment.

Application

Where more of a hearing is offered, more can be said about Jesus. But where such word is not welcome, acknowledging who Jesus is is sufficient testimony. Not everyone gets the same amount of information, because not everyone is willing to hear. So those who hear more are truly blessed, those who hear almost nothing are truly cursed. I need to be aware that not everyone is willing to hear and understand who Jesus is, and it's not my responsibility to give a complete explanation of who Jesus is, but to get whatever word in I can.
