Thought

Blessed is the man whom God corrects, because He teaches him from His law. The law of the Lord is so good, teaching what love looks like, and exposing evil deeds. The man whom God teaches from His law is blessed indeed, being transformed into His likeness, knowing good and evil, but doing only good the more he understands. God may make him endure evil days, but ultimately the Lord will bring him into eternity with Him, where sin will truly and finally and completely be gone!

Application

If the Lord is pleased with me, He will let me understand His Word, every bit of it, and He will help me obey it. If He is so pleased with me, then I can have complete confidence that I will be delivered from these evil days into His glorious presence. All Scripture is God-breathed, all Scripture is given by inspiration for my instruction. I don't have to debate with any of it, just believe and trust and obey. God is so good and His Word is entirely trustworthy.
