Thought

This day is truly a day for praising the Lord, for this is the day He rose from the dead and secured our salvation. That He would die for us who did not deserve such mercy, that He rose from the dead, sealing our forgiveness and the promise of life everlasting, the Lord is most worthy of praise. He didn't have to do it, and He would still be worthy of praise. This is a day for celebrating His goodness, His lovingkindness!

Application

Praise the Lord today for His mercy, for His compassion, for His unfathomable love for me, in choosing me and saving me. Praise Him because He made all things and rules over all things, and He will accomplish all His holy Word and will!
