Thought
The prophet who has a dream is free to share it, but he will be destroyed for his insolence and rebellion, for making things up in his own mind and teaching them as if they were the words of God. He will lead many astray and condemn them all to destruction. But the one who spends time in God's council and hears and learns the Words of God, he must speak those words, and trust that God's Word is like a fire that burns away chaff, that burns away lies, and like a hammer that shatters rock-hard hearts.
Application
Though the liars who don't know God outnumber the faithful who do, though the lies spewed in the name of the Lord overwhelm the true message of God, yet the true servant of the Lord must not give in to despair. God's Word is mighty! It burns away lies. It burns brightly. It shatters hard hearts and breaks through fortresses of lies. The faithful messenger of God simply needs to faithfully proclaim the Lord's message. Those whom the Lord desires to save will hear and believe it, in spite of the lies that surround them. Those He refuses to save will have His words ringing in their ears as they suffer judgment. I don't need to worry about the overwhelming flood of lies, I just need to believe what God's Word actually says, and speak that to all, so that those whom the Lord desires to redeem can respond in faith.
